When it comes to repairing the world, Andy Stein takes that mission seriously -- and literally. As a member of
Northwestern University's Sustainability Team,
he helps make NU's campus more energy efficient and aims to reduce its impact on the environment.
Andy's passion for environmental work extends into his volunteerism as well. He is the co-chair of the Jewish National Fund's JNFuture Chicago Board, an Emerging Professionals board member of the Illinois Green Alliance, and he volunteers at City Farm Chicago. Through these groups, he tries to ensure that the world will be a little greener -- and most importantly, still around -- for generations to come.
Passionate about Judaism, Andy is a builder at Mishkan Chicago, an active participant at YLD Pride events, and you can often find him at various Shabbat dinners around the city.
