Sarah Levine-Miles is focused on supporting new moms and moms-to-be in a myriad of ways. She currently divides her work week between hospital social work helping women and infants, supporting new Jewish moms as a parent ambassador for JUF's jBaby Chicago, and private practice. Most recently, Sarah helped start the  Illinois chapter of Postpartum Support International (PSI),  which now has volunteers in all 50 states and 36 countries across the world.

Previously, Sarah, a licensed clinical social worker, worked with people experiencing homelessness and mental illness across the city and provided career services to formerly incarcerated individuals, work which earned her a spot in a 2016 Chicago Tribune RedEye article,  "Who Helps Homeless 'L' Passengers?"

Sarah is involved locally in Avodah as well as Moishe House, where she brought young Jews together to address inequality through service work and learning.

HOW YOU JEW IN CHICAGO:
Between celebrating holidays like Purim, Passover, and Chanukah with hundreds of other young families at jBaby events, to making Shabbat dinner in our home for other Jewish families, Judaism has been a central part of my life. Additionally, through jBaby I have welcomed 120 families to the Chicago new parent community with at home visits and a swag bag of awesome must-have Jewish baby gear.
