Years ago, Jacob Shapiro took his first trip to Israel on a JUF mission. Since then, he has been devoted to Israel advocacy and education.

While he spends his days working as an investor and advisor to several companies in the Chicago area, Jacob gives back generously with his time to the Jewish community, having served on JUF and AIPAC's young leadership boards and as a senior advisor for JUF's Write On For Israel program. He was recently appointed to the Jewish Federations of North America's National Young Leadership Cabinet.

A couple more fun facts about Jacob: He founded and has run a successful event ticket management company for the past 10 years and he holds both an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School as well as dual undergraduate degrees from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary where he studied Talmud, Jewish law and ethics.
