Melissa Schwarz doesn't just talk the talk-- she most certainly walks the walk! A program manager at Repair the World Chicago, Melissa creates social justice opportunities for people to give back and learn about the challenges facing our community.
Outside of work, Melissa gives back to the community by serving as a trustee of the Jewish Women's Foundation and her involvement with Impact Grants Chicago where she evaluates grant proposals and collectively allocates resources to local Chicago nonprofits. In addition to embracing the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam through her work, Melissa is always up for putting on a meaningful event, hosting a Shabbat dinner and participating in a learning opportunity to enhance her quality of work.
