Robert is always finding new ways to get involved with the Chicago Jewish community.
Much of his involvement comes from UIUC, where he served as Hillel president and created the Karson Family Scholarship for Jewish UIUC students. He is also the Jewish representative on the University of Illinois Alumni Association Board of Advisors and involved with three committees--awards; digital engagement; and diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the president of the UIUC Jewish Alumni Network, he helps alumni stay connected and fight for a better future for Judaism on campus.
Outside of UIUC, Robert delivers food with Maot Chitim and volunteers at JUF's Uptown Café. Robert is a Glass Leadership Institute Fellow with ADL and served on JUF's YLD Back from Birthright Israel committee for two years. He is someone willing to go above and beyond to help others.
