Growing and evolving is key to anything, religion included-- and Rabbi Rena Singer is on a mission to make Judaism welcoming and accessible to all. In her role as a rabbi at Temple Sholom of Chicago, she has managed to make quite an impact, despite a pandemic. Rabbi Singer builds connections and encourages thoughtfulness among young Jews involved in the synagogue.

On the side, she is one of the founders of @modern_ritual, an Instagram account that provides pluralistic Jewish content that is personal, innovative and impactful. Page followers can attest to the warm community she's created through the page. Rabbi Singer believes in the strength of community and that impact is always greater together. She challenges her community to evaluate and dig deeper into all things Jewish. If you don't follow her yet, check out what she's all about at @modern_ritual.
